Summer newsletter

Dear Parkshore Residents,
It is hard to believe we are almost half way through summer with the weather we have been having. I wanted to update everyone with some changes for the July 4th celebrations. The fireworks will not be held at the Alum Creek Lake and Dam area this year. The celebration will be held at Olentangy High School. This was decided by the Orange Township Trustees . There is a charge for this concert and fireworks display and tickets can be purchased online or through the township.

We recently had the stones washed and repainted at the entrances and replaced the lighting at the Lewis Center entrance. With the new efficient LED bulbs we will save approximately $800 in electric costs.

I would like to thank Jamie Stabl for planting the flowers at the Lewis Center entrance and Julie Guentag for planting flowers at the Spinnaker entrance. The flowers look great as you drive into either entrance. We thank them both for their time and effort to keep our neighborhood looking beautiful.
It is also that time of year to evaluate your mailbox. We have purchased stain and put together kits to make this process easy. You may contact any of the trustees to get stain.

The next Flamingo Friday will be held on Buckman Circle on July 10th
at 7pm we hope to see you there.

Regards,
Frances Catanese
